Munster 2026 Indoor U15-19 Day 1

Day 1 of Track and Field at the Munster indoors for 2026.

A new championship record was set in the Shot by Emer Purtil, who broke the old record with all of her throws and se also took gold in high jump.  Her sister Meabh took silver in her high jump event.  There was gold for the U19 girls relay and silver for the U15 girls.  Jay Collins won in his hurdles while Megan O’Shea took the sivler in hers.  Isbéal Ní Huigín took silver in both 200m and the pole vault, which is a new event for her this year.  Gyte Andrijauskaite won the gold medal in her Shot event.
