2026 County Cross Country Day 2 at Newcastle West

Day 2 of the cross country for 2026 saw the youngest group of Dooneen athletes, the under 9 girls and boys, come out in force for their 600m race in Newcastle West.  The weather was unusually nice for October this year, and the medals scored by the winning girls and boys under-9 teams were the sugar on top.  More results to come later once made official, but we had individual and team medals in every race category across the day once again adding to the success of day 1 in Bilboa, and setting up for a great 2026/2027 year for the club.
