National Juvenile Indoors 2025

Some great results from Athlone at the All Ireland Indoors at the end of March.
U13 , Chelsea Malejeva came sixth in shot put and Bobby Weekes competed in 60m hurdles heats.
U14 – Silver for Lavr Malejeva in shot put. Adas Andrijauskas also competed and threw well. Eva McMahon, 7th in 800m heats. Caitlin Garvey competed in U14 1k walk but was unfortunately disqualified near the finish line, but was in contention for bronze for most of the race
U15 – Jay Collins won the 60m hurdle and finished nearly a second ahead of silver position and also came fourth in 60m sprint final. Gyte Andrijauskaite won silver in the shot put.
U16 – Raymond O’Brien was 7th in shot put and achived a PB. Isbéal Ní hUigín came 6th in 200m final.
U17 – Destiny Lawel won an amazing 2 medals – gold in 200m and silver in 60m. Niamh Hynes was third in her 200m heat.
U18 – Meabh Purtill won bronze in the 200m final, Rian Collins came 4th in the 200m final in one of his first main competitions for Dooneen and Eanna Ní hUigín came fifth in her 60m heat.
