Some great results from Athlone at the All Ireland Indoors at the end of March. U13 , Chelsea Malejeva came sixth in shot put and Bobby Weekes competed in 60m hurdles heats. U14 – Silver for Lavr Malejeva in shot put. Adas Andrijauskas also competed and threw well. Eva McMahon, 7th in 800m heats. Caitlin Garvey competed in U14 1k walk but was unfortunately disqualified near the finish line, but was in contention for bronze for most of the race U15 – Jay Collins won the 60m hurdle and finished nearly a second ahead of silver position and also came fourth in 60m sprint final.
